Terms of use

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These are the terms for using VidGenius - the online studio at app.vidgeni.com and the program you install on your own computer. Using either means you agree to them.

What VidGenius is

A tool that makes narrated videos from a topic, a script, a recording or links you give it. Much of the work is done by automatic models. What they write and draw can be wrong, and a video may not come out as you pictured it: read the script and watch the video before you publish it.

Your account

Give a real email address, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if somebody else has got into your account. One account is for one person or one business. A licence for the program is for the one computer it is activated on.

Plans, credits and payments

The studio runs on credits, which come with a plan. What each plan gives, what it costs and how long a finished video is kept are shown on the plans page before you pay. Credits are used when a video's script is written. Prices and what a plan includes may change for periods you have not yet paid for.

If something you paid for did not work, write to us and we will look at it with you.

What is yours, and what you answer for

  • The scripts you write and the videos made for you are yours to use, including commercially.
  • You must have the right to use whatever you bring: your recordings, your pictures, your text.
  • Some formats cut a film from videos you name on YouTube or elsewhere. That footage belongs to its makers. Whether a film made from it may be published - and any claim or strike that follows - is yours to answer for, not ours.
  • The platforms you publish on have their own rules about automated and reused content. Meeting them is up to you.

Publishing to YouTube

Publishing a video to your channel from VidGenius uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. What you publish must follow YouTube's own rules, and what is published on your channel is yours to answer for. Our privacy page says what we ask Google for and how to take it back.

What you may not do

  • make anything unlawful, or anything that harasses, defames or sexualises a real person, or that exploits children;
  • pass a made video off as a real recording of a real person or event in order to deceive;
  • share, resell or lend your account or licence, or try to get round the limits of your plan;
  • attack, overload or take apart the service or the program.

We may pause or close an account that does these things.

The service

We work to keep VidGenius running, but it depends on other companies' services and can be slow or unavailable at times. Finished videos in the studio are removed after the days your plan gives: download what you want to keep. Styles, features and limits change as the product does.

Our responsibility

VidGenius is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost income, lost views or other indirect loss from using it, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the problem.

Ending

You can stop using VidGenius at any time and ask us to delete your account. Our privacy page says what we keep and for how long.

Changes and contact

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we say so in the studio. Questions: write to us at support@vidgeni.com or on WhatsApp.
